Marvel Rivals has just dropped its latest update on April 17, 2025, bringing a host of exciting new features and fixes to enhance your gameplay experience.
Costume Color Customization:
Players can now personalize their heroes like never before with the introduction of costume color customization. Available from April 17 at 2 AM PDT, this feature allows you to purchase and freely switch between different color options for your favorite costumes directly from the store.
New Store Bundles:
Two fresh bundles have been added to the in-game store, available starting April 17 at 7 PM PDT:
- Doctor Strange – Multiverse of Madness Bundle
- Peni Parker – Yatsukahagi Bundle
These bundles offer new looks and items to further customize your gameplay.
Gameplay Fixes and Improvements:
This update also addresses several issues to improve overall game stability and performance:
- General Fixes:
- Resolved a rare camera perspective issue occurring after respawning.
- Fixed an error where importing reticle settings could display invalid character messages.
- Map and Mode Fixes:
- Corrected terrain issues that could cause characters to become stuck or clip into unintended areas.
- Hero-Specific Fixes:
- Wolverine: Addressed problems with his Ultimate Ability not completing properly under poor network conditions and issues with direction control during the Fastball Special.
- Hulk (Bruce Banner): Fixed a rare model display issue when transforming in terrain kill zones.
- The Thing: Corrected an ability icon error in the KO prompt during terrain kills caused by his Ultimate Ability.
- Adam Warlock: Resolved an issue where resurrected teammates could appear in out-of-play areas on Spider-Islands.
PC Enhancements:
For PC players, the update introduces support for Razer Chroma RGB lighting and Razer Sensa HD Haptics. These features provide over 600 distinct effects, enhancing immersion with responsive lighting and haptic feedback during character transformations, spell casting, and more. To enable these features, access the experimental settings in the Marvel Launcher; external Razer hardware is required.
