Eleventh Hour Games has officially launched Last Epoch Season 2: Tombs of the Erased, bringing a wealth of new content and improvements to the ARPG landscape.
A New Faction Emerges: The Woven:
At the heart of this update is the introduction of The Woven, a mysterious faction led by the enigmatic Weaver. Players will delve into the Tombs of the Erased, confronting new Champion enemies and mini-bosses, and uncovering the secrets woven into Eterra’s fabric.
Enhanced Crafting and Gameplay:
Season 2 brings significant enhancements to the crafting system, offering greater customization and power. Additionally, the update introduces:
- Improved Dungeon Mechanics: Addressing community feedback, dungeons now offer unique rewards and mechanics, enhancing the overall experience.
- Monolith of Fate Upgrades: New echo objectives, enemies, and endgame bosses have been added, providing fresh challenges for seasoned players.
- Controller Support Enhancements: Skill-targeting mechanics have been overhauled, granting players more flexibility and precision.
- New Waypoints: Players can now access The Bazaar and The Observatory earlier in their journey, improving navigation and exploration.
Quality of Life and Bug Fixes:
Responding to player reports, Eleventh Hour Games has implemented numerous bug fixes, including:
- Visual glitches and lighting issues.
- Armor cooldown problems.
- Ability-specific bugs, such as issues with Lightning Blast’s Halo Effect.
A new bug reporting tool has also been introduced, allowing players to report issues directly from the game interface.
Community Engagement and Supporter Packs:
To celebrate the launch, a new round of Twitch Drops is available from April 2 to April 7, alongside a “Support-A-Creator” campaign offering exclusive in-game items. New supporter packs, including the Woven Series, are now available, while the Eternal Supporter packs will retire on April 18.
