Lords of the Fallen 2.0 Update: Shared Progression, Combat Overhaul & Free Co-Op Friend Pass

The Version 2.0 update for Lords of the Fallen is now live, delivering a comprehensive overhaul that redefines the dark fantasy action-RPG experience.

Co-Op Reimagined: Shared Progression & Free Friend’s Pass:

A standout feature of this update is the introduction of shared progression in co-op mode. Now, both players can retain full story progress, loot, and vigor, provided they’re on the same New Game cycle and have defeated a similar number of bosses. Additionally, the new Free Friend’s Pass allows you to invite a friend to join your adventure online, even if they don’t own the game. Your friend will keep all loot and character progression between sessions and gain free offline access to the full tutorial and character creator.

Combat & Movement: Sharper, Faster, More Fluid:

Combat has been significantly refined, with improved weapon responsiveness, upgraded lock-on mechanics featuring Grievous Strike prompts, and smoother evasions for more fluid battles. A dedicated jump button has been added, enhancing platforming and exploration.

Visual & UI Enhancements:

The update brings a revamped character creator, offering more customization options. The UI has been streamlined for easier navigation, and the tutorial has been overhauled to provide a better onboarding experience for new players.

Community-Driven Improvements:

Version 2.0 reflects extensive community feedback, with over 50 post-launch updates leading to this definitive edition. The development team has addressed player concerns, resulting in a more polished and engaging experience.

Lords of the Fallen Version 2.0 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store, including Steam.
